A chemical peel, also known as chemexfoliation, uses a chemical solution to improve the appearance of your skin. In this treatment, a chemical solution is applied to your skin, which causes the cells in skin’s layers to dehydrate and shed. The skin layers eventually peel off revealing more youthful skin. The new skin is usually smoother with fewer lines and wrinkles, has a more even color and is brighter in complexion. Chemical peels serve as prep for laser and microneedling treatments to promote skin health.

Chemical peels can be used for the following medical conditions:

  • Photoaging (fine lines, superficial wrinkles, sun-damaged skin)

  • Solar lentigines / age spots / sun damage

  • Melasma

  • Post‑inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH)

  • General dyschromia / uneven skin tone

  • Actinic keratoses (superficial precancerous lesions)

  • Acne vulgaris

  • Superficial acne scarring and textural irregularities

  • Scar Revision
